My novel is set in the far future. I combined aspects of late 15th century gothic and samurai armors to create the aesthetic. The armor is supposed to look almost liquid; sharp, smooth and malleable at the same time. It isn't made of materials we have today.  I hope the textures, under suit and the curvature make it look like something from the distant future, but there are still all the elements that would have to be there no matter how far in the future we go, like the helmet seals on his neck. Most importantly, no one else in sci-fi land wears anything like this.  This is mine.

The character's name is Harper.

Most elements were fabricated in Blender. A few elements were kitbashed. All were textured by me.

As always, comments, critiques and feedback is appriciated.

It looks pretty good.
Maybe it's due to rendering, but it becomes difficult to fully observe the character in a crowded environment.
Maybe you can consider a little change in armor color.
Or play with the colors on belts, weapons and other accessories.
For example, I noticed the armor on the chest area after 2 minutes.

Thank you so much for your reply. Thank you for spending some time to look at my work. I really appriciate it. The armor is supposed to be black and stealthy. In the book, my marines are fast moving shadows that shoot you or cut you before you even know where they are.  I spent a long time getting the textures right to make them just discernable enough.

I agree. These look great!
It could just be the angle of lighting conditions that causes the body armor to be a bit obscure.
Still though, looks great!
