I'm having a major issue in trying to import an animated character into a scene in Blender. It's a very simple animation but the physics for the clothing and hair are... very odd (I'm attaching pics to demonstrate). I want to mention up front that I'm really not very good with this software and in fact abandoned it for a while out of frustration so I'm hoping someone can help me out in a way that an idiot (like me) can understand. My workflow is this:
1) Create character in CC3
2) Export iAvatar to iClone 7
3) Apply motion clip to character
4) Save motion as iMotion (I can't seem to find the motionplus option)
5) Go back to CC3, select my character and export with custom motion from step #4 (for Blender, Mesh and Motion, Embed Textures deselected and Delete Hidden Faces selected)
6) Export FBX
7) Import FBX in Blender with the CC3+Blender add-on
Unfortunately the result is this. The first shot is at frame #1... everything looks okay. The second shot is frame #200 and the globular mess is the dress and hair from my character. If I use the 'Rebuild Advanced' tab, I can play the animation and all is well... but if I try to play the animation a second time, it goes back to the craziness in the photos. Any help would be appreciated... or a link to a tutorial although... I think I've watched them all and to be honest, I learn more from the comments than the RL videos. Thanks.
