Nice sales strategy. Screw your faithful customers by pulling the plug on support with zero advance notice. Then, without laughing, tell them to buy another product from you.

CrazyTalk 8 has been discontinued and removed from the Store but we are not pulling the plug on it. We announced a long time ago that CrazyTalk had become a Legacy product and that it would no longer be receiving updates. However, you can continue to use CrazyTalk 8 just as you have always done for as long as you want. And if you have any problems with your serial number or registering the software on a new computer, then we will certainly help you get up and running again.

Can it still be downloaded? Moved from a Mac to a PC and obviously Mac version won't run on PC so want to download PC version. Is this still possible?

Those that have already purchased CrazyTalk can download and continue using it for as long as they wish. However, it isn't possible to purchase new copies as it has been discontinued and removed from the store.

That said as you already own CrazyTalk for Mac I would advise contacting Support using the link below and ask them about getting the Windows version. They may be able to help.

It has now been a few years since CrazyTalk was discontinued and unfortunately is no longer available for sale from the Reallusion Content Store.

I have Crazytalk 8 (and CTA5), and have found that all of the content has disappeared. Backgrounds, actors, the lot. I would like to be able to use the software I bought even if is no longer supported. Ay idea how I get my content back please?

If you have CrazyTalk 8 currently installed just uninstall it first.

Then download it it again from your Reallusion Account > Registration page and re-install it which will put back your content. You can also download any resource and bonus packs from the same page which will give you all the available free content. In addition, if you have purchased any content packs for CT8 then you can re-download those from your Order History page.

Thanks Peter. Crazytalk is somehow not listed on my registration page. Only CTA5. Is there some way of getting it back?

OK. I managed to re-register CT8 as it had somehow disappeared from my account. All content now up and running again. Result. Many thanks for the advice.
