Hi I have used a path before but I cant for the life of me figure out why i have got a flicker onmy characters legs as it walks. I thought it might be the motion but im just using a standard walk casual from Mason. I tried different ways of doing the walk but it still happens. Its not just one character in my scene. I have four different characters walking 4 different paths and they are all doing it. Any Ideas would be really appreciated. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1WDfe1vn7vSiai911mgnq3jQkUT74uYeE/view?usp=sharingThis a copy of my test video....not there yet but would give you an idea about what i mean

I have very little to contribute, as I have never experienced this before and have no idea what's causing it. Nobody else has answered either, so you must have a bizarre situation. However, as a long-time troubleshooter I can suggest that you narrow down the situation. In my experience, this nearly always solves a mysterious problem like this. So... 1) Make a new project with just one of these characters and the same motion. Does this problem happen? If so, you have a greatly simplified problem. If not, the problem involves something else in your project which you should try to isolate. 2) Does it happen only with paths, or also if walking a simple translate position key? 3) Try other walking motions, such as those with Motion Puppet. 4) Slide your character along the path with no motion applied. Do its legs jiggle? 5) If you have Curve Editor installed, open the motion and see if the jiggle is reflected in the curve. You can surely think of other tests as well. If you can narrow it down, it's more likely you or an expert here can solve it. When you do solve it, please reply so I can add it to my meager knowledge base. Tim

Thanks for the help. I tried many different scenarios as you suggested and found out it was pretty simple in the end. I solved it by redoing my motions and paths. The problem was that the terrain I was using wasnt quiet flat. It had a stone path on it that when it was originally made the slabs were uneven and when i projected the path to the terrain it picked up all the little imperfections in the terrrain. I think this was the problem and i solved it by floating the path i was following just a little and didnt project it to the terrain. I also adjusted my camera so I didnt notice the floating feet so much. but it was a work around that worked for now.
Thanks for the response.

Thanks for the update. Walking problems are such a nuisance that I usually try to shoot so that the feet are hidden. Rumor has it that walking is much improved in Version 8. Tim
