Hi all!

For the life of me I can't figure out how to turn from a side character to a front-facing character like the Reallusion tutorial on CTA4 to AE, shown here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZ1fT1yolPw&t=19s . Here's a gif of the turn:

76% of original size (was 658x19) - Click to enlargehttps://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/76f03dd0-d45a-482d-b3f7-d43d.gif

Somehow the side-facing "Red" character runs in, jumps on the platform, and flips to the front-facing character seamlessly. Can anyone tell me how this was done?

At the point where you want the character to turn, line up the feet of the front facing character with those of the side facing character (approx where they would end up) and make the front facing character invisible. Then in the timeline on the frame where the change happens, make the side facing character invisible and the front facing character visible.

Perfect, thanks so much, etourist! The visible/invisible trick works great. I'm surprised it doesn't show up in any of the (many) tutorials I've gone through.

Merry Christmas and thanks again :)

To be fair, it's not an obvious thing to create a tutorial about until someone actually asks 'how is it done?' I respond to a lot of questions and have created tutorials but I don't recall seeing this question come up too often (if at all) recently.

Glad I could help though :-)
