I'm trying to load a character from Daz Studios into CC3 using Transformer. I've watched the few tutorials that Reallusion has posted on youtube. When trying to import it says "Failed to load character :No suitable setup profile found." I've combed through other tutorials trying to find a solution and I have no clue as to why this is happening. Please help This is the link to the one of the tutorials I was following: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1O7JuHzvJs&t=84s

When this happens almost 100% of the time it's because some of the mesh is hidden. To solve this just drag in ANOTHER Genesis figure into the Daz scene of the same sort you are exporting. So, if you've put some clothing on a Genesis 8 Female, drag another basic Gen 8 Female into the Daz scene (so you have two, one clothed and one without - they will line up). Now export and when you import just uncheck the Genesis figure that comes in and you'll be find (you can also delete it after it comes in).

You can also export/import to Blender then to CC3 but its double the work.

I tried this and still got nothing.

What specific Daz character/outfit are you trying? (The link to the Daz site would be really helpful).

I was using a Gen 8.1. I didn't put any clothes on as I just wanted to test out the export option just to see if I could get it to work.

Yep that was the problem. I guess I figured that 8.1 would work. Thanks for taking time out of your day for helping me.

Hi everyone, For someone still having the problem with Genesis 8.1, I recorded a brief walkthrough video, including a workaround for the eyelashes and tear. https://youtu.be/hFWnUl5F_wo
I also updated the feedback tracker ticket 'Fix Importing Genesis 8.1 Female into CC3 (Transformer)'/ I hope it helps. Best regards

Yeah, that won't work. (You can get the mesh in, but not the textures).
