When I apply a walk cycle animation clip and then cut & paste that clip several times, the character invariably returns to the starting position. I have reset the root motion, but this solution only works if you apply a new animation clip besides a previous one. It does not seem to work when copying an existing clip and pasting it several times.

Aligning left leg or right leg also doesn't work for cutting and pasting.

Which 'Walk Cycle" anim are you using. From which collection?

Here is a tutorial I just made on how I make a walking clip into a longer walking clip.

Thanks!  Yes, this is what I was doing, and it was working fine by dragging and dropping clips. I was just trying to get it done by cutting and pasting something already placed in the timeline. However, Reallusion support indicated that cut and paste does not work with animation clips that contain any sort of displacement.  The clip needs to be dropped anew each time.

Maybe I did not understood correctly, but have you tried to align clips?
