How to Get Omniverse Embedded Content

NVIDIA embedded content contains many different types, such as material libraries, skies, plants, arch-viz examples, sample projects, characters, scenes, and A2F sample files.

1. Click on Omniverse > Localhost and login to your account.
2. Every Nvidia embedded content resides in the NVIDIA folder.

3. It's recommend to download Nucleus Service, in order to verify content integrity.

Tips for Using the Gizmo to Translate Content

Operational Points:
  • The skeleton root needs to be selected for the bone-skinned content.
  • Moving the mesh has no effect, because it is bone-skinned and the skeleton takes precedence.

How to Fix Erroneous Facial Animations?

Facial animation sent to Omniverse will deviate quite drastically from iClone, and in most instances, only the jaw bone will move in Omniverse. Make sure to activate Enable Blendshape under  Preference > UsdSkel > Blendshape.

https://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/e90bf183-be72-4689-91d1-efad.png

Note: You'll need to restart the scene in order for the setting to take effect.
Note: Make sure your Omniverse Create version is 3.6 or above.

What Should I Do if I Cannot Send to Server?

If Send to Server command does not work in iCloneor Character Creator, then check for the following issues:

1) Confirm that the web browser is open and initiate login procedures.
https://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/bf5d1d07-80b9-4b0c-9fca-88aa.png

2) Verify that the latest version of Nuclear Serviceand Cacheis installed.

3) Make sure the Omniverse System Monitoris running (see pic below).
*The System Monitoracts as your launchpad for services running on your Omniverse Nucleus. While running, it looks for installedOmniverse Servicesand launches them based on their configuration.
Learn more aboutOmniverse System Monitorfrom theOmniverse Webpage.
https://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/437b0a06-7918-4f90-8fa2-d05c.png

If it is not running, then activate it via
Windows > Search > Omniverse System Monitor.

If the program still does not appear in its usual place, then you'll need to restart your computer.

4) If all else fails, then please download the clean-up tool found in theOmniverse Online Documentation. Follow the instructions to cleanse the original data files and re-installOmniverse Launcher.

The Visual Display is Strange. What Should I Do?

Sometimes, unexpected texture artifacts can appear. Under these circumstances, we recommend restarting the program.

How to Share Files to Other People, and Prevent Broken References to Files and Textures?

Omniverse USD format relies on references to remain intact. Therefore, you are advised to Collect Assets via the right-click context menu for the asset you wish to backup. Collect Assets will bundle the asset and its dependencies to preserve references. See the Omnivserse Webpage for more information.
