Hello All,
I'm new to Reallusion & all their products. I'm super excited about the headshot plugin. It's amazing!

One question I have is, after headshot generates the face from picture, in some cases, I see black patches that is essentially from the edge of the hair in the face. The facial features are fairly accurate and I have the ability to tweak with morph 1000+, so all I need to do is fix the skin texture. Is there a way to fix the texture? I'm willing to explore other tools. Any tutorial/demo would be extremely helpful.

Here is an example:

Thanks,
Kalyan

Was there a problem with your original? Does this affect both sides of the face or just one?

If one side is good, and the other is messed up, my (free) website has an easy way to take half of a face and reverse it.

Here is a short video:

These steps are in the video
1. Upload image at Pixeldatabase.net https://pixeldatabase.net
2. Click on the Color Picker to turn it on
3. Click on around the middle of the face around the nose to get the half way point (X) value from the Color Picker.
4. Then type the following and hit apply query

If the Left Side of the image is good, and 1,000 is your halfway point X, type

Update
SplitImage TakeLeft 1000

Or if the Right Side is good and 1,200 is the half way point

Update
SplitImage TakeRight 1200

Click Apply Query after you type it in, and the image is duplicated so the face will be very symmetrical (like pretty people in Hollywood).

That is just one way. The higher the resolution of the image you start with the better.

If both sides are messed up then you may need another image, or photo editing skills to fix it. If you post your original or send me a PM, l I can see if it looks easily fixable.

Thank you for the link. I actually tried that technique on another picture using gimp and that worked out well. I'll try your website. Makes it very simple compared to editing by hand!

In this particular case it's on both sides. I was looking into zbrush, but I couldn't find any videos/blogs about retexturing CC characters in zbrush. Wondering if that's an option.
