I was playing a phone game when I saw a smaller screen pan into a bigger one when they called their tech wizard about the case they're working on, and I was wondering if it's possible in Cartoon Animator 4 if something like this is possible:
Before:
75% of original size (was 667x19) - Click to enlargehttps://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/2c45f882-119d-4589-9524-4f67.png
After:
75% of original size (was 667x19) - Click to enlargehttps://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/5944e3cf-5e87-4a44-bd1b-9253.png
Is this something that can be done in the software or do I have to use an editor? The latter sounds like a lot of work.

There are several ways of doing that.
One would be to first record the slide in with transparency and then import into the main scene as a video clip and then slide in as needed.
Another would be to just slide in the second scene in front of the main scene.

Hmm... The first one sounds challenging (for me) but doable. The tricky part—again, for me—is to time it right.
The second suggestion makes it sound like there can be more than one scene in a project; I thought there could only be one at a time. Or am I misunderstanding simple instructions? (I tend to do that.)

Thanks for the reply!

If you "load" a "scene" then yes, only one at a time but if you build your scenes from scratch (or add to the existing scene) then you can do whatever you want.
Here is a quick example I threw together:
