My current rig can't keep up...

So I'm faced w/ either:
1) buying a newer pre-built machine, or
2) running the tools remotely on Amazon EC2 instance

Any have experience/opinions on the remote EC2 option?

Thx in advance,

D

I'm going to guess there's no frickin' way iClone will run on EC2.  But you can always try it out first, right? (Is there some kind of EC2 trial?)

There doesn't seem to be any useable graphics support to make this interesting. It seems to geared more at computationally intensive tasks, i.e., number-crunching.
