On a couple of occasions I have been asked by a client to make a slight change to a morph head. Sometimes the image used for the morph head just needs the colour of the lips changing or changing hair style etc. Is there a way of just swapping the image being used for the morph head so that the positions of the eyes, mouth face etc can be re-used without having to start again with a completely new head? Many thanks.

You can keep the body, but if you swap out the image it will generate a new head. Your best bet for changing makeup or skin coloration is Skingen and this pack: https://www.reallusion.com/ContentStore/Character-Creator/Pack/Makeup-and-SFX/default.htmlAre you using the auto mode to generate hair? If so, you could open a new project, generate the hair using another photo, save it as a custom hair, go back to your other project and apply it. Otherwise, you could purchase hair that meets your clients needs from either the marketplace or content store and quickly apply it to your character.

Hi Miles, thanks for your quick response. So like I suspected, there is no way of simply swapping the image used for a morph head, that's a real shame as it would save lots of time. On numerous occasions I have needed this feature which I'm sure would be easy for Reallusion to add. Perhaps it should go into the suggestions box.
The faces I am animating are hand drawn cartoon characters which are quite simple line drawings. Often they are caricatures of senior managers and just need a little tweaking once the client has seen them animate with replacement cartoon eyes etc, so the suggestions you kindly made for editing the images are not going to help in this instance. At least I now know that there is no way of simply swapping the image and I don't feel quite so stupid now ;-)
Many thanks.
