Folks,

Here's the latest video along with the link (in the video explanation) to my Python script which brings around 97% of all maps from Daz to iClone.

A couple of things:

1) Install the Pillow extension.  In the readme I have a link to a video showing how to install extensions to iClone Python but RL also has both a video and instructions elsewhere.
2) It takes a maximum of around 15 minutes on my machine for the longest files - most are 7 minutes or less.  But I have a very powerful machine.  It might take up to an hour for some people but whatever you do do NOT do anything else on your machine.  Get some coffee, have lunch, take a break and then come back without touching your machine or you may crash the system.
3) It compresses all maps by default - anything more than 1K is compressed down to 1K.  This is almost a requirement because even small scenes from Daz can go over 20GB with 4K maps (and even MY machine can't handle them).  So turn off compression at your own peril.
4) I still have a few more things I'll be adding in the next couple of weeks.  Please let me know any errors in the console log.

Hi Kellytoons,
Great video. I was wondering if there was an effective way to map textures back from iClone / CC3+ to Daz Genesis 8? The UV Maps seem pretty similar but baking doesn't seem like a good option given the differences between the CC3+ & Genesis 8 models.
Any advice would be most helpful!
Thanks!

Sorry, but I really don't know much (if anything) about going the other direction, as my efforts are strictly from Daz to iClone.  Since you say "any advice would be helpful" my advice would be NOT to go back to Daz - I can't imagine ANYONE wanting to use Daz for anything, really, other than bringing its content out (even if you don't like the iClone renderer, for example, there are FAR better renderers than Daz, like Blender and UnReal.  Honestly, I just don't see using Daz for any project).
