OK, I'm not sure if this is a design, glitch, or my own ineptitude.. On a recent project, I opted to use HDR, and other lighting effects on my avatar. I finally decided none of the changes gave me what I wanted. So, I tried to go all the way back to a simple solid green background. The intent being to chroma key to place the avatar in a photo scene via Paintshop Pro (PSP). I was unable to undo the IBL, HDR, Full Body, and other lighting effects. In the end, the best I could do was use PSP to laboriously transparency the background. How can avoid such a thing in the future?

Save your project before you add extra lighting. I save a project I am working on about 1 to 5 times after 20-45 minutes. Have you ever tried LUT effects? You can adjust them in the visual panel. There are some LUT effects that come free with iClone and CC.

If you render in PNG or Targa format you will get the perfect transparency by default. This is the advantage of 3D applications :)
