Excellent work, that just what we have been missing from iclone.. , I Like the path system and you usedn it well. I've but not had much time to use this yet but this looks promising. Well done.

@Gerry and Kidder
Thank you very much!!!:):):)

Here are two new pictures. I have changed the textures for the planes and the path and I have added new vegetation and a background.

Those pics are great!  I need an opinion: How severe is the learning curve for this terrain generator?  I've been thinking about buying it, but I'm worried that it might take me weeks to learn to use it.  How user-friendly is it?

@Profnewrock and Pollux
Thank you very much!!!:):):)

@TimohtyMasters
Thank you too.:):):)

There are two words important: patience and try.
What I did to learn the Nature Terrain Generator:

-I watched the 3 movies
-I created a terrain 5x5, 64x64, 4K

https://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/4529f568-62cd-469a-93e7-6b39.jpg

- used the Morph Control and created some hills

https://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/a125bf2c-560a-4b72-97fc-54f0.jpg

-And then the Topology/Tessellation(multiplier)

https://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/2f751f9d-a16c-4104-8650-079e.jpg

-Created a path.(plane 64x64 with material path5, 4K), scaled the path to 50x100x100 and raised it

https://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/5ba382d6-2409-4bc4-b367-417b.jpg

-With Morph Control I raised the ground under the path and used the mixer to bend  the sides of the path down.

-I added water (hight -5) and  lowered the terrein a bit to create a little lake and disabled the 2 sided  material where the water is visible

https://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/c7e04dfb-1563-4163-b7e6-222e.jpg

This was my first try. I played with the terrain about 2 days.

Then I created a larger terrain (100 planes) and with the things I learned (and the vegetation) I could make the pictures. This took me about one day.
(To create a terrain of 100 planes, create first 25 planes, select them all  and use ctrl+move).

I think there are others ways to learn it, but for me this worked.

Best Regards,
Arie

Thanks for all those details!  I purchased it, and now I'm trying to figure out how to get the plugin installed.  Sigh.  iClone is wonderful, but nothing is easy!

I think where Nature Terrain Generator really shines is in close-ups.  Here's a picture I created in conjunction with some DAZ assets scattered about using the G-Tools Debris Generator.  I did learn that DAZ props seem to come in with the X-axis rotated 90 degrees (even though the prop looks correctly oriented, the Modify panel will show X angle = 90 instead of 0).  I had to use Reset Transform in order for Debris Generator to place these correctly.
