Hi, Ive been playing around and have been making a dancing character.

Firstly I've keyframe the legs, then the arm movements. Then separately I've keyframe the 3d head turns to make my character look like he's swaying his head as he dances left and right. I did have a key key frames clashing together where within a second it resets to default, noticing this issue, I thought it would be possible to move around the key frames on the timeline. I can move them around on the legs, arms, but not on the 3d head. I literally had to delete the whole face animation and start from scratch. The keyframes for the head movements seem to be frayed out, and I'm unable to make changes once I've recorded the animation. e.g. lets say start point and end point of an action got mixed up, eg. end point moved infant of the start point, I am unable to manually shift it to the correct frame. Could someone advice me what to do, and why are the keyframes greyed out for the 3d head?

many thanks

Try this:-
1. Click the Timeline.
2. Click the ""Face"" tab.
3. Click the ""Facial clip"".
4.  You'll see keys in the Head, Face, Eye tracks.
5.  Deleted the unwanted keys.
6.  Insert new keys to make new movements.
Hopefully this will solve the problem.

Thank you. Yes it worked. For some reason didn’t the first time. The whole head keyframes were greyed out and unmovable. Today managed to clean up the entire sequence. Apologies for the numerous typos in previous messages as I’ve typed it up in a rush. Simplicity of cta is making me fall in love with animating. More time for creativity. Looked intimidating at the start but really easy to learn. Now the hardest part is making a good looking character from scratch.
