Hello I noticed that CC3 exports male and female characters in different heights. I made a test and indeed when cc3 base female character is created she is 170cm and male is 180ish. I do not want this. I need them the same height. In the morphs their height settings are the same set at 0. How do I make them the same exact height??? Why is this so complicated?

Thank you for your help,

I'm not at my computer, but here is one way you could accomplish this in CC3.

Preference Panel > Display Section > Check the Info box (Hotkey is Ctrl+F)

I believe that will show you both the polygon count and object height (you need to have your avatar selected) in the upper left corner of your viewport. Then you could use the morph sliders to increase or decrease the characters height until it is where you want it.

Alternatively, you could use a third party program like blender to scale your character and then apply the scale so it is set back to 1.

Edit: You can go below zero on your morph sliders by manually entering a negative number.

Generally an average male is taller than an average female and this is represented in Character Creator 3.

But if you want your male and female characters the same size then you can adjust the females height slider to match that of the male. :ermm:

Would be nice if we could have a reference character (male/female) with a base height next to our project character. Or bring in our other project characters for reference.

Thanks everyone for the answers. I opted for using the height morph slider in the morphs. However I would like to see the character height that doesn't take in consideration the hair hats etc once you click on the body, at the moment it doesn't work like that so height is not precise. Also everytime you change clothes or accessories or convert to game base the height changes and you need to fix it again. Very annoying, there needs to be a better system for height.
