I've been working on a project for 6 months now. 2 weeks ago I lost my animator (who also ran the riggers). We have a working model that I made in CC3. The props are being made right now, but I've been looking at sources for funding and without an animation I don't have a strong proof of concept for the pitch deck. With no animator I'm looking to scale back what we're trying to do because I really can't afford to go out and hire an animator that has experience in Maya, Photoshop, and a bunch of other programs. But what I'd like to do is take the model I have now (once her props are finished) and have someone animate her in IClone 7 (and add the VFX to one of her props), just as test animation. The animator will have to apply physics and polish to her. Then I'd like to create the environment in Unreal Engine and then have her animated in the Unreal Engine environment for our proof of concept. Let's hypothetically say I have a terrific CC3 and IClone 7 person (because there are a lot of them right HERE) and I get someone who can create and render the model in Unreal Engine. Do you guys think that will create a convincing proof of concept animation? Or is IClone 7 too limited? Granted, I would be paying all of these people - I just don't want to waste my money.
