I recently ran into a snag with this figure. Being an avid Star Trek fan ever since I was about 12 years old, I jumped when I saw Leon for GF8. Please let me state the obvious, I ensured I was using the GF8 and not the GF8.1 figure. I wanted to create a Klingon, and the Leon model provides the facial forehead for this purpose. When I tried to pass Leon using both iClone and CC3, the model went through, but no forehead creases. If anyone can help, I'll be very grateful. Kind regards, Frank

I mentioned this to Frank privately, but it appears that Leon uses HD in order to get those facial characteristics and as we all know, HD details will not come across into CC3. I know Mr. G has some sort of "normals" processing routine where he was able to get more detailed info so perhaps he could share it here to help Frank out as I think that's the only way this will work.

Thanks, Mike. I don't know who Mr. G is, but I hope he responds. I was reading something about an atlas texture generator, but I don't know if this can be applied to CC3 or 3DXChange. I also read that I could output the HD render to .OBJ, but I don't have the slightest idea how to convert an .OBJ into a riggable model. Any help or advice here, will be always greatly appreciated.
Kind regards, Frank
