Can I import Adobe After Effects project into CA4 pipeline?

Nope, that's not possible...
You get your Cartoon Animator layers flawless to AE but not back from AE to CA4.
These are .json files, not .aep, which open in AE with script.

Thanks for the info. I find online article  about exporting from After Effects into .JSON using Bodymovin.  Can I use this .JSON file in the Cartoon Animator? 

Sorry, I'm not sure about that, but I think that's not possible for the moment, might be in the future...
Maybe someone from RL chimes in here and can say more about import .json to CA4.
