Has anyone used both the iPhone and Faceware for facial mocap? If so, which one's better?

With the new release of 7.9 it's no longer a contest -- the Live Face for iPhone beats Faceware hands down. There is no longer ANY reason to buy Faceware.

Any iPhone model with facial ID (so, any phone without a "home" button but relies upon the face to open it up). Even the iPad Pro will work (same facial recognition) although the cheapest right now, IIRC, is the XR.

I have Faceware, but I must admit that Live Face is the way to go especially since it supports the new Arkit (?) facial morphs, whereas Faceware doesn't. The XR has gone down in price a lot. A refurbished one with 128 GB from Apple is going for $469.

I guess the phone is used with a stand. What would be a good choice?

Animagic - For tabletop recording, I just use a selfie stick like this one: The head rotates 90 degrees and you can adjust the height to the actor. A little flimsy at extended lengths, but <$15 on Amazon
