Thank you for the correction animagic, I have now made the correction in the original post. Something I also forgot to mention in my original post is that you are also not tied to a monthly subscription unlike other text to speech apps. I keep thinking this is another 'too good to be true' app on the web, but despite this still in beta, it is good for the cost.

With most of these Text to Speech software, there is always hidden cost to get the best out of them. I actually took the time to read through most go their very long and detailed websites during my research and have found most if not all are trying to get customers to 'hurry and buy now' before the price goes up. But after week of researching I came across Voice Maker and could not believe the price. So I'm not here to give anyone an affiliation link of any kind, but to only say that this could very well be the solution to what some of you may be looking for as I use it with iClone. See and try for yourself. https://voicemaker.in Thank you for this. It has a nice interface and on first try it sounds pretty good. There was an error in your link (space at the end). It should be: https://voicemaker.in.

Earlier this month, I converted over 30 Microsoft voices for use in iClone 7. All you have to do to ad the extra voices to the registry is click on each one. Here is a link I found how to do it. There are more voices to use, but I only did about 15 female and 16 male voices. You can have somebody speaking English with a Russian accent. What is good about the Microsoft voices is, it is built into AccuLips. Unlock all Windows 10 TTS voices system-wide to get more of them - gHacks Tech News

For folks using Google Wavenet or Amazon Polly, I found this handy online SSML editor -- just enter your text, then copy/paste to your provider of choice. As a bonus, if you have Alexa you can have "her" proofread before uploading for conversion. https://topvoiceapps.com/ssml

You have some control thought there isn't much difference between the emphasis settings. Here is the interface: Jeff

It is based on WaveNet, but you'll have the benefit of a simplified interface. However, it's not clear how much you can tweak (no markup, probably).

If anyone is interested I just came across this: Talkia text-to-speech software is having a special for a one-time payment of $67 for their standard service (normally $39/mo). The special can be seen HERE. Jeff
