Hi everyone,
I have a few questions on Character Creator 3. I already downloaded the trial and will explore it now.
But before evaluating it, I need to know some basic facts enabling me to decide for the usage of it for our upcoming project :-)
I am a little bit confused. This list here
https://www.reallusion.com/iclone/FAQ-IC-packages-comparison.html and some other remarks on different product websites seem to state, that CC3 is a plugin for iClone.
Downloading the free trial, it is startable from the hub without iClone 7 installed. So can CC3 be used as standalone software as well, without a bought copy of iClone?
I saw there is a plugin for CC3 enabling auto-assignment of shaders etc. in Unity. In general, can CC3 export the models rigged as humanoid (which we would need to use in our project)?
Also, I wonder, how fine-tuned you can adapt the body proportions of generated models to a real existing human?
We would need to generate characters to use in combination with live motion capturing, fitting the real body proportions of the user as well as possible to those of the generated character.
It really would be great to avoid adjustments and scalings on the generated model inside the unity engine, but being able to export characters with fitting proportions (e. g. length of the upper arm is the same as the length of the user's real body, in relation to the other body parts).
I hope you can help me with some answers, enabling me to evaluate the free trial version in regard to our needs :-)
Thank you very much in advance!
