If I move the original FBX .fbm folder then iClone complains about them being missing and I have to re-point to the folder.

Is there a way to make the iAvatar self-contained so to speak?

You do NOT embed the textures in the file during export.  Nor do you collect them to a folder.

Show us your Daz output settings if you are at all confused.
