Hey there, how can I import a video with a transparent background? I tried videos with alpha channels but it makes a big black box/not transparent
I tried exportong the alpha chanel video out of pop video3 trial and still the same (but with pop video 3 water marks as the background)
Can this be done? Thanks

Hi... You can use popVideo 3 to create a video with a transparent background. Just make sure to export from PopVideo 3 in the .popVideo format (Not AVI, WMV etc).

Is this why animated GIF's don't work anymore? I spent most of yesterday trying to get an animated GIF to work in CTA4.4 with no luck. I'm sure they worked in the past. Now it just shows a still. I was trying to do just what was asked here with a green screen video for use in CTA, so the response helps. I did this in the past by making animated GIFs and wish I still could - if there's a way? The response that PopVideo 3 works is good to know. I had actually forgot about it since I rarely do this. It would have been nice if animated GIFs still worked, but I'll break down and buy PV3.

Thanks... I totally forgot about swf files since Adobe quit with Flash. I actually have tools for making swf but don't use them anymore. I decided to go with popVideo 3. It worked pretty good and very intuitive. I didn't have to read instructions and was able to key out the green, plus crop out the object which made the process even better .
