How to Download Motions from ActorCore to Cartoon Animator 4 (If you only have CTA)

All 3D Motion contents in ActorCore are compatible with Cartoon Animator 4.4, or above. Kindly follow the below instructions on how to download motions from ActorCore to Cartoon Animator.

1. Go to ActorCore and purchase the 3D motions you need.

2. Once purchased, the easiest way to bring in all your 3D Motion contents is to simply install all your content packs via “Original Download” from your Inventory in the Marketplace, as this will directly add them into your Cartoon Animator 4 folders.

During content packs installation, simply check Cartoon Animator 4 for the specified version.

Some of the motions still required i-Clone to download.

Yes - I downloaded some of the actorcore free motions - and it needed iClone. Since I work on a MacBook Pro -- I can't use iClone. Also, the new motion link is for windows only.
I'm very disappointed that the Mac has been left behind with respect to 3D and now motion link.
This means that there is no way for me to know if individual motions will work directly with my cta4. It is not possible to purchase windows software separately just to avail of these newer features.
The motion sampler pack did have motions that work -- bu tit means that I'm tied to published and already converted 3D motions published/sold by Reallusion.
I do hope that Reallusion looks at coming out with a Mac version of motion link .

hi Smart Ears

I acknowledge your point but the blame is not always their fault because there are third parties involved.

I had thought a third parties may offer support, I taken a look at only of them and found out   the support is limited.

if you wish to part with your cash

this would be a long term investment, so it maybe wise to change your operating system because it maybe an long time coming.

I agree. I'm on the fence of returning this software and finding one that works better with my OS.  When I purchased I didn't know there was such a great bias.

Although I'm not the original author of this thread, I'd like to jump in here. The "Spunky Moves" package downloads fine, but any of the free motions from ActorCore do not, even after following the above video closely (this is on Windows). I consistently get the message that I need iClone and it doesn't allow me to click the option to choose download destination. There has been a discussion of this on the Facebook CA4 group so I know there are at least a few others that are having this problem. Any help would be great! Thanks!

Only 5 out of the 28 are downloadable.
They are:-
1. Against_Wall_Turn_L_to_SneakWalk
2. C08_Low_Hold_Gun_Turn180_L
3. Cc02_SideShoot
4. Crouch_Walk_R_AgainstWall
5. F_H_MageSpellCast_05

Thanks for checking them all, vepop! I first tried to install them as a batch and got the iClone message, then just one or two with the same results. Just my luck I didn't originally try one of the five you mentioned. I just tried one of your five and it installed fine.
