I can try it tomorrow (my friend has a new iPhone 12).  But I'd be absolutely AMAZED if it did not.

Ah, I drank too much wine and forgot.  Luckily he's also coming over tomorrow, for movie night.  So I'll try and remember to try then.

Sorry.

That’s all right, thanks Mike! Btw, in your opinion, is Live Face significantly better than the webcam faceware? I saw your post 2 years ago but am just wondering about the latest state of things

For my case I dropped Faceware because i had lot of issues du to the  lighting which must be of good quality. Live face use the Apple ID technology
and I have better result because it use the z depth data. the only problem for now is the jittering of the facial mocap.

About the Apple ID tech :
"Face ID automatically adapts to changes in your appearance, such as wearing cosmetic makeup or growing facial hair.
If there is a more significant change in your appearance, like shaving a full beard, Face ID confirms your identity
by using your passcode before it updates your face data. Face ID is designed to work with hats, scarves, glasses, contact lenses,
and many sunglasses. Furthermore, it's designed to work indoors, outdoors, and even in total darkness."

As he said -- I dropped Faceware use and kind of hate it (I didn't even reinstall it on my machine that crashed).

And yet, once again, this old man forgot.  I am writing a message to my friend now, who will be here Sunday (he's helping me install an 85" television).  He'll have his iPhone 12 and I *promise* we'll check it out then.  Sigh.
