this is an common problem when your machine is doing multiples tasks in the background it give an false impression that it has been saved correctly!

if you have been saving to one file only then it is more likely to be corrupted.

but if you rename each file then there is an good chance of get your file back

this maybe an good remedy for you

go to your windows app's and uninstall then reinstall the programme again

but before doing this important step[  please check your member order list first!

I spent all day yesterday working on a project. I save the project multiple times, and I saved it and opened it with different names. But today I can't open it. Every time I try CT8 just crashes and I'm left with the Mac error report screen.

How can I retrieve my files?

I'm using Mac book pro, with running Catalina
