Hello All - I am considering buying another 27" HD monitor to have dual monitor (Win 10). I have the space desk-wise. It will not be for gaming, but for working with multiple art applications - ie iClone, CC3, Photoshop, UE4, etc....
Anyone have any good surprises, unanticipated issues, or regrets that they encountered when it comes to working within RL products in a dual monitor environment? THX!

No issues here. After using two I now can't live without at least two monitors anymore. If I had the desk space I would get a third. Jeff sp.

I have given up on the dual monitor for years. I only use one 48 inch 4k screen. Even for video editing. It's perfect with RL product. I hope one day to be able to work either on a screen of 100 inches in 8k or VR glasses in 8k...

I have 2 monitors and I love it with zero issues! Especially for Reallusion programs. I need to buy a 3rd :hehe:

I am more than happy since I got dual Dual monitors. I moved all those tabs (modify, visual, material ,render ) out to the second screen. My view-port is now larger and I do not need to click and switch tabs when I need them.

I had to make the decision a few years ago and decided against dual monitors. Instead, I have a large (42" or so) 4k monitor. Not as big as mtakerkart's, but close...:D At this size, the text of the user interface of most applications is still comfortably readable, even at 4k. I wanted a 4k monitor, so that was a consideration. Another consideration is a comfortable viewing angle when you are working.

I have two monitors which, together, are larger than 48". Honestly, a 48" single one wouldn't work nearly as well for me, since this allows me to *curve* them around the desk area (which is in a corner of my room). A single monitor would be much more of a problem in that regard. Plus -- I couldn't use a 4K monitor -- WAY too small for these old eyes. These two I run both at 1920x1080 at 150% resolution. I've tried similar things with 4K and it's no way Jose. So I doubt there is even a 48" monitor (or larger) that would allow this anyway (IOW, it would have to be a 48" HD monitor instead of UHD -- never seen such a thing). Finally, there are some programs that just don't do well extended that far anyway, but fit perfectly in ONE 1920x1080 monitor (like the new Flight Simulator). So whatever works for you. I know I couldn't live without my two monitor solution.

I also wouldn't want to work without anymore, especially when working iClone+Unreal... Though even if you only work with iClone, timeline can get very full. Having a single monitor just for the timeline is quite handy. Since 4 years I have a dual 28" solution (1920x1080) and I'm very happy with that.

You don't need much desk space with these, just mount the stands on the back of your desk. Goes into the table about 4 inches or so. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CUW5HDU/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
