The hair for my character moves as soon as I start playing it. It is before the character moves and is not related to the characters movements at all. After it calms down It works as expected. Anybody know what the problem could be?

It might be reacting to the collision shapes on the shoulder if it's long hair. But whether it's long hair or not, sometimes you just need to wait for it to settle down (so leave some frames at the start of your animation for it).

Kelley is right. Physics needs a second or so to calm down. When rendering you can ask iClone to drop those initial frames so they will not be in your final output.
