Hi,
The new CC3 is amazing !! I have 2 questions:
1) Is there an option to import only the face/head (fbx or obj) and integrate with existing base model in CC3? Of course after "adding" body part - face the morph also should work!
I tried with "Transfer character" but not much success and very little info on the site too..

2) What is the procedure to convert custom 3d human model to CC3 format using "Transformer"

PS:I am not talking about Daz to CC3 workflow.

Thanks in advance.
JK

2) You can't.  You can use 3DXChange to import a custom character into iClone, but only Daz/Poser models can come into CC3 through Transformer and you cannot import your own custom models any way else.

thank you kelleytoons. I hope @reallusion will include this in their future versions.. I believe this will also
grab more 3d users to start using CC3 workflow.

Hi,
Daz studio and the base models are free.
IF indeed you have custom sculpting skills you
can  make a custom head sculpt on a Daz base model and create a morph
and bring that morphed Character in to CC3 via the transformer.
I have several Daz Characters there were made with custom morphs and even
the Facegen artist pro software for heads based on photographs.
I even made a custom sculpt,With MODO, of my own head for the Daz genesis 2 male.
All of these old Characters are now residing in my CC3 pipeline library
as Iclone native Avatars via the transformer.
