Hi all, had my eyes on Iclone & CC3 for a while, I'm trying to find an alter tool to replace all my work in Daz, IRay rendering engine in Daz is broken beyond repair and I can't take it anymore.

I think Iclone is the only tool I can possibly replicate all the work I did in Daz(poser can do that too but Poser's render just don't look good) So my question is how big of a scene I can do in Iclone with my i7-5820 16G Ram and a RTX2060? to give a reference, I main do animated short clips, fight scene single frame render like 3D comic. in DAZ usually I put 5-6 characters in a high ploy environment, should I expect Iclone would able to handle the same scale scene without iray render crash from left to right?

Any insight would be appreciated

Have you tried Daz's  "Carrara 8.5 Pro " . Has oodles of features [Daz Studio by comparison is a toy]  and a lot of plugins to enhance capability.many are free.
Downside, is it doesn't handle Genesis 3 or 8 owing to Daz stopped development though there are workarounds. Fbx is old version so doesn't work well. Otherwise I think export all your scenes from Studio as duf files which Carrara reads.
Renders pretty fast though not interactive - but who cares -you can drag over image and spot render very quickly.  Checkout Carrara Forum and heaps of tutorial videos. You can do so much with this program the price is laughable !

So why am I here in Iclone ? Because I can use Genesis 8  and it has good animation and lipsinc . But I'm findiing it confusing & hard to work with due to a clunky interface and Reallusion breaking everything up [ iclone, CC3, 3Dexchange, then extras like curve editor.  Iray I'm told takes too long for animation rendering so I wont be getting that. Ideally I would like to export animations to Carrara but not happy about spending another 3 or 4 hundred dollars [thats 5 or 6 hundred in my dollars ] on top of what Ive already spent .
I always had some doubt about Iclone because I have found few really good aniimation examples on youtube. Why is that I wonder ??

Much like Bryce and Hexagon, Carrara is a vestigial relic from a bygone era
that is at a developmental dead end.
LOL!!! Carrara has no future...none... and the most laughable thing about it
is the fact that Daz still Charges money for it at all.
Not supporting the latest FBX import formats or even Alembic makes it a non starter
as an import and rendering environment for modern Iclone/CC3 Avatars or even Daz's Own G3/8 figures.
@Chris9890:
To answer your central question ..yes Iclone with CC3 pipeline will replace everything you are doin in Daz studio plus
you have a realtime animation system with proper
human IK and the best audio based lip sync& facial animation tools unless
upgrade to the Camera based facial  live mocap system.
And the new skingen system for CC3 Crushes the limited
paid Daz skinbuilder plugin from Zev0.
You will be able to completely migrate your existing Daz Character shapes(G1,2,3,8) clothing
,skin maps hairs & accesories over to iclone, as I have recently done ,after finishing my 93 minute feature lenght
movie animated with Iclone versions 5.5-6.5 and  retargeted to Daz figures and sent to C4D to render.
Finally  should you decide that the Iclone render engine does not suit your quality needs ,
there is an establish path to send your Iclone scense to the free UE4 engine
or Export from CC3 to Blender As I am now doing.
An investment Iclone is an investment in the future
And I strongly warn against wasting any time or money on end of life, dead dog, softwares like Carrara.
