Thanks for your answer. To "retarget" the figure is obviously not very simple. I suppose that means you have to make a kind of standard T-pose. I don't know how exacty to do that and it seems to me being a very time-taking job. I read somenwhere that you can "load" a T-pose for your figure. When I click on load I recieve a small library but no one of those items work. It is probably better to forget he BVH files. Axel.

The model associated with the BVH file is imported as a prop. So the first thing you need to do is click "Convert to Non-Standard" under Character in the Modify panel. You then need to match up (retarget) the bones in the character with iClone bones (my terminology is a bit simplistic as I don't do this normally). Once the prop is converted to a character you can then export as desired. I was looking for a section in the manual but didn't find any...

Hello, Many times already someone helped me with a problem so I hope this time there will be someone too. I imported a BVH file into 3DXChange and exported it (with the animation box checked) to iClone 7. I find the exported things in the templates as an "iprop file" and also there is a map withe same name in the "Motionlus folder" but that map is empty. So no motion (file) is present in iClone. I suppose that I am doing the things in a wrong way. How can I use BVH files in iClone ? Is the way along 3DXChange the wright way? And so yes, what am I doing wrong? At some places I read about the BVH converter but I have no idea where that thing could be. Maybe it is not in use anymore. Thanks for any help. Axel.
