Hi, I am new in the forum.
I wanted to know if it is possible to import into CC a 3D different body made from a 3D scan or made with other 3D software such as Maya or 3DS Max or others.
Thanks

Hi...

The only supported file types that can be imported directly into Character Creator 3 Pipeline are Daz, Poser and Hivewire characters.

For 3D scanned characters we do have a workflow for getting those characters into CC3, but it is quite a complex process and involves using a number of different 3D tools such as ZBrush. You can find out more by clicking the link below if you are interested.

For rigged non-standard type characters you can import them into iClone using our conversion software 3DXchange 7 Pro/Pipeline. You won't be able to further customise them or swap clothing, shoes etc but they can still be used for animation purposes in iClone.
