I have to know before getting the programme if i can make a complete story video using the programme and how many minutes last.

CrazyTalk 8 allows you to create a single animated talking head per project. This can be a human character, an animal, or just about anything really. A project can be up to 15 minutes long but if you need longer you can just create more projects and then edit the videos all together after export. 

So if you just want a character to read a story then CrazyTalk 8 will be ideal.
