Hi, I have probably what's a total newbie question but in this particular case google isn't giving me what I need so maybe it's more unique than I think. Please look at the attached picture. The character is supposed to be clutching the arm rest but the character has some slight movement via mo cap data. I need the hand to be solidly attached to that arm rest while the rest of the body is able to performer that slight movement. How would I go about this? Any h elp is greatly appreciated!!! Thank you!

Hi! One option might be to use a Reach Effector to attach the hand to the chair arm. There are some tricks to using Reach Effectors without tearing your hair out, but they can be very effective. I'm not where I can search for my links to my favorite tuts, but you might try Rampa's Youtube channel--I know he had several: https://www.youtube.com/user/rampapandiontinling/search?query=reach+effector. Hope that helps!
