I have iClone 7 and 3dXchange fwiw --

In the past when I have rigged a character in Reallusion programs, given it some animation, then tried to export for Blender, the bones of the armature become disconnected from one another, and more importantly, it seems to lose all IK bones. So basically, a simple walking animation done in iClone becomes impractical to use in Blender because there is no way to set floor and collision parameters.

I know I'm doing something (everything) wrong, and could really use some advice on how to get this pipeline working as it should!

Can you post a screen capture of your Blender 2.8x FBX IMPORT settings.
I have been exporting animated figures from Iclone 6.5 3DX to Blender with no problems as seen in this Video clip

In 7 it is easier as you export directly from iClone with Blender preset and use default Blender import settings.
File>Export >ExportFBX

Thanks guys, I tried the Blender export preset as a test and it seemed to work. If I remember right, my issue last time was with sliding feet, but that didn't seem to be an issue this time. I'll reply again if I encounter the issue again down the road. Appreciate the expertise!
