I don't know if you have read this that is stated on Lumions Support page? ..and also don't forget to set the range of the animation when exporting.. so if you have 1 keyframe in the animation timeline set 1 in the range and you should be good Lumion support:Import animated 3D objects
This is a silent signature

It is not possible to export the characters within Lumion from any program. It is a limitation of Lumion, it is a deficiency with which I have struggled for years and it is not possible to do so. I've spoken to the Lumion developers several times and it doesn't seem like it's a priority for them. Only objects with rotation, position or scale, no deformation of vertices or morphs

Yes but that's exactly what I need! Just an object, no morphs, etc. I can import my character with a .fbx looking perfect, I can scale and rotate. The only thing I do wrong somehow is that my posed character I load into Lumion only appears in a T-pose. That's my problem. Somehow I can not import it in Lumion the pose I send it in. Maybe I do something wrong in the settings? My work(flow) would improve drastically if I could get this sort out...

If it is only an object without deformations there is no problem. Make sure that when you import the FBX (or DAE) you have pressed the button to import the animation ... what version of Lumion do you have?

This cannot work. A SKIN system is required. (Vertex deformation). This is one of the things Lumion is not going to do ... :( Sorry...

Hi ATOOM, well thanks, you did save me more time trying... So I have to work my way around it. Shame the software does not work together. Regards, George
