Hi,
Firstly, I'll attach an image of the 3 applications side-by-side I mention below. :)
I'm running the latest version of CC3 and iClone 7 and am running into some technical issues with the round-tripping process with the base mesh for external processing.
For reference, in CC3 I'm going up to Modify --> Load Neutral Base, then Export --> OBJ --> Nude Character in T-Pose.
This generates the OBJ and the .objKey file that's required to bring it back in correctly.
I'm running the base mesh through Wrap to get the model looking as needed (head changes only), and exporting out the same topology.
When I bring the exported model into Substance Painter, it comes in correctly proportioned as it was in Wrap.
When I bring it via "Create --> Morph Style Editor" in CC3, however...and making sure to have the base mesh setup correctly & loading the 'Wrap' base and ObjKey file, it comes in looking differently.
If I wasn't getting perfect results going from Wrap --> Substance Painter, then I'd think it's something to do with my Wrap pipeline.
Since that isn't the case, though, I'm assuming I'm either not importing correctly in CC3 (though I've done it many times and tried different options),
or there is some type of technical glitch occurring upon the import / creation of the slider.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I've been trying to work through this all for a while now without success.
I'm going to post this on the forums and on the iClone Facebook group in hopes of finding a solution. If I should submit the question anywhere else as well, do give me a heads-up!
Thank you!
John
