hello, how can a charcter hand over an object to the other hand or another character. e.g. a charcter is holding a cell phone and wants to hand over it from the left to the right hand or to someone else?

thank you :)

You can bring in the cell phone as a prop.
Link it to the hand of character A.
Unlink it from A when it is about to be given to character B.
Then, link it to B.

Not sure if this helps,but...

I'd create a cube, set it as 'dummy' and attach it to the appropriate hand. Do the same for the other character. I'd then link the cellphone to the cube. As vepop said, link the cellphone at the appropriate spot in the timeline (when the object switches hands) to the other character's hands. The cellphone will follow the second character's hand movements at the transferred 'link object' point.

How to do this seamlessly is for a more experienced animator than myself. I've always had trouble with the transition.
