Hi everybody, You must know the feeling: buying a brand-new software program and you cannot wait to explore all its cool features right? WRONG! None of my Iclone software works. Tried for hours. Only seeing a splash screen for a few seconds and no launch. In Iclones FAQ there is a link to Geforce for drivers: LINK DOES NOT WORK! So I make a ticket to Iclone. And that's it. Its Friday now, how long I have to wait I don't know? All I know is that I've spent $350 and I have nothing. So Icloners, This is my start as a new Iclone member on this forum. New and not so happy.

Hi... Most launching issues are related to outdated graphics drivers or an incompatible graphics card. So please use the link below to get the latest GeForce drivers and install those. I recommend doing a manual search by inputting your graphic cards details. https://www.geforce.com/driversThen if you still have problems, please let us know your full system specifications including graphics card. Hey man. I know the feeling.. i bought software for $700 and have had some issues and questions but my whole presence feels like either a bad mistake or like i've offended someone really bad that i don't know about :).. So just push through it.. If i can help you with all weird things i've encountered i will.. I didn't have any issues with downloading but i removed all my installed trials, all the content and made sure everythig was clean, then restared my computer from scratch so there shouldn't be any issues
Also make sure you have sufficent room on the HD so the computer itself doesn't put a spanner in the wheel.. If you have download issues make sure you don't have a viruschecker that prevents data from being accessed
And about the drivers: always get drivers from the respective site directly.. links posted one day can go obsolete the next or at least over time and may not reflect reality.
If you don't know what driver to select just post your model and i'll look it up.. Nvidia have changed their series of GFX driver to include a studio and a game version of which i chose the Studio version as it's said to give better performcance to thes types of apps we're using and 3D in general

Sorry to hear this! :( Mostly installs go well but yes there can be issues. Just FYI Iclone is a small team and they are all working remotely because of Covid so are trying hard to get to tickets etc and support but it’s slower than normal. They are usually very quick to respond to issues like yours! We’re you able to follow peter’s link to install the latest drivers? What computer specifically (cpu and ram) and what graphics card do you have? Are you installing it on your main hard drive? Did you uninstall the trial first? Plz post as much detail as you can so we can help you. Also, just FYI you have to manually subscribe to this post to get updated via email when one of us responds! Dumb forum behavior.

I've had this issue too, I found that if i started the task manager, killed the program in the task manager, it starts up normally. This has also happened to me with corel's paintshop pro. I have no idea why this happens, I just know that if you kill the stalled version of it from memory, it starts normal after. in my case, I'm guessing this has to do with a sleeping drive - ie - I try to start program, drive is sleeping, program gets stuck in memory waiting for a response, but there is no response after drive wakes up. I hope this helps, and stay safe, El Dragon ( PSS - I also appreciate the spending and frustration, I've been there, trust me it's gotten a lot better these days, hang in there )

It happens. This is not the fault of iClone, its your computer thats the issue. Granted its frustrating cause you spent that much money but if you are this frustrated before you have even seen or used the program, you are starting off on the wrong foot in my opinion. I've been using Reallusion products for going on 10 years and even I dont know everything. I still come on here and ask questions. Just know there are times when you cant figure something out but know that support or people here on the forum will do their best to help. It just takes a little while to get a response sometimes.

So glad you were able to sort the problem! Peter (the above poster who gave you the tip about the drivers) is a Reallusion employee and he replied very quickly! I know it’s frustrating when problems happen, but please feel free to post again when you have issues. There’s a big community of users here ready to help, and Reallusion does a fantastic job (via Peter and others) reading the forum daily.
