Totally new to CC3 and iClone7, so apologies if this is a stupid question... I've looked around the learning center, docs and YouTube videos but can't seem to find an answer.
I've created a character in CC3 which I've then imported into iClone to do some facial animation using Live Face.
I'm getting the eyeballs poking through the eyelids and found in this forum that I need to adjust the position of the eyes and eye bones.
In iClone I see the 'Edit in Character Creator' button which when clicked opens my character in CC3. I notice that the file is name 'TempAvatar.iAvatar' rather than my original .ccProject name. This feels a little like the way Adobe opens SmartObjects. Makes sense.
But now I'm stuck and don't know how to save my changes and have them update in iClone.
What am I supposed to do next?
I've tried 'Send Character to iClone' on the CC3 toolbar but after a brief processing indicator nothing has updated in iClone. The character is not updated. (I tried changing clothes textures just to make sure)
I've tried closing CC3 - but then I'm asked if I want to save the .ccProject. If I do this, I don't know how to replace the CC3 character in my iClone project but still keep the facial animations.
Any help, guidance and recommendations for YouTube vids would be much appreciated. Everything I've seen covers the UI and scene animation in iClone, or specific functionality, but nothing that shows the entire workflow across each of the different applications (and I haven't even got around to using 3DXChange!) Where are the guides covering the entire pipeline?
