I have always been a fan of the "Powerpuff Girls" cartoon series, as well as the Japanese incarnation, "Powerpuff Girls Z", which I personally thought was an improvement in many ways, on an already pretty flawless idea. So between the two versions, we've seen the girls as kindergarteners, as well as middle-schoolers. But, I've always wondered, what would a animated series, or even game for that matter, of the girls would look like if it were made similar to the old "Spiderman and His Amazing Friends" series? You know, where Spiderman was a freshman in college and roommates with Iceman and Firestar. What if the girls were raised to hide their powers, more like The X Men. I figure the idea had enough merit to warrant playing around with some concept art, modeling and rigging, so here you are, Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup. Modeled in a mix between Daz Studio and Character Creator 3, rendered in CC3 - Iray Renderer and iClone 7, and rigged for animation for Unreal Engine 4. I'll share some of my animation and VFX tests a little later.
