We have a 30 seat installation of iClone, Character Creator and 3DXChange (education licences). Now that all the students are working remotely, we are using VMWare to allow them access to the PCs in the teaching lab - which are organised into small virtual 'clusters'. When students remotely access the PCs, VMWare Horizon uses a kind of 'brokerage' system which allocates the user to an available machine. So they do this and work on a project, saving their work and its components to the Template folder in CC or iC etc.
Next time they login, they will most likely find themselves on a different PC in the cluster, so not have access to their content to continue working on it.
Can you recommend a sensible way of saving content to a fixed location on the network (within the directory structure that iClone and CC likes of course)?
Many thanks in advance
Jon
