Hello,

I have had Cartoon Animator 4 Pipeline for a little less than a week and it had been working pretty good. All of a sudden today it's been crashing when I try to use the converting to morph-based head tool in the program with any new projects. The tool will look like it's running and then the tools pop up window won't actually pop up and then anytime you click on the program a loud "ding" can be heard. I can get out of the program by clicking escape and then canceling my attempt at an adjustment or through task manager. I'm not sure what is going on. I even attempted to uninstall the program from my C drive (hdd) to my D drive (sdd) as a sad last resort attempt to see if it made a difference...it didn't.

Anyone have any thoughts??

Thanks for your time and help!

Cheryl

Hi Cheryl

Have you been using Cartoon Animator with a dual screen setup? A common problem occurs when panels have been moved onto second screens and then disappear when reverting back to a single screen.

If you think this might be the problem, try going to Window > Restore Default Workspace on the Menu Bar to see if that resolves the problem.

If it doesn't help, please try opening CTA4 on the dual screen again and make sure all panels are moved back to the first screen.

Do also try completely shutting down your computer and then restart. This can often solve problems when the computer hasn't been shut down for a long time.

Hello!
Yes this ended up being the problem as I switched for the day from two monitors to one monitor 🤦‍♀️. Thank you for the reply! I really thought I was going crazy!
