Hi,
I'm relatively new to the iClone system and was thinking of purchasing the Cartoon Character Designer Head/Body & Hair accessories pack.
My burning questions are:

1:  Can these characters be made to talk either via iPhone Face Mocap or via the other methods of wav and text files??
2:  Secondly.. Going through the product page, there is mention that the eyes do not close properly unless you use the FaceAnim Profile for Toon Figures
Quote from the product page:  ""In order to properly shut the eyes, just drag in and apply a facial animation profile defined for that character.
Please download the FaceAnim Profile for Toon Figures from your member account page.""

Is the
FaceAnim Profile for Toon Figures and extra purchase or free with the Cartoon Character Designer pack.

As I really would like to do a lot of body and facial animation with pack along with the hair bouncing etc...
Thanks all for reading and look forward to hearing back from you.
Regards.

My results with the Live Face Trial Using the Toon bases Modified in zbrush but still :

The last release of Character Creator has a eye closed correction button now. On my manual animation the eyes closing are better now. Before I would have to change the eyes in ZBrush to fix the issue. I dont have the trial of Live face anymore to check. Hopefully I can buy it in may.

Hi,
Thanks for the info.
What Character did you use as my question was related to the Cartoon Character Designer content.
https://www.reallusion.com/ContentStore/Character-Creator/Pack/3D-Toon-Figures/default.html

As I was wondering if these has the same qualities for animating via Live Face etc.

Regards

Yes that's what i used in the video, but I changed the face and body shapes in zbrush a little to match the style i wanted. All characters in CC use the same skinning. Which is why clothing works on all characters for the most part outside extreme size changes. The skin mesh is the same across characters and they all have the same morphs. Even morphs you add in your self. IE horns etc. As long as you don't modify the vertex order and UVs. Which is one reason this software is so versitile imo.
