So I figure since we are on lock down, I might as well share some of the other parts of my master animation project that I've been kind of holding back for a bit. Meh, no use keeping it under wraps now. Anyway, here's the character designs for my portion of the project, based on the 1980's G.I. Joe cartoon series. Lord_Dreadmoor (4/14/2020) Allow me to introduce you to one of my guilty pleasures, still remaining from my childhood. :DCool... Great voices too! I knew it was a series and also there was/is a huge collection of action-figures (as I'm a collector) but never watched the movies... I know more about G.I. JOE by the stop-motion "Robot Chicken" series than anything else :D

Did you create these characters and what programs did you use? Amazing work! I remember I used to love G.I, Joe, I still have many action figures in the garage, also a fan of Star Wars and He-Man.

@AlbinosGambit, the way I design is, first I create a base character in Daz Studio, then add any clothing assets I plan to customize, before exporting it to FBX format. Then I import the charatcer through Character Creator 3 Pipeline, where I make sure to bake all of the maps. This makes it easier to export any texture maps to Photoshop and/or Substance for customization, or rediesign, since the UV maps are now unwrapped for Reallusion characters specifically. After I'm happy with any necessary map customization, I start on customizing the clothing and accessories, usually combining assets from Daz, Character Creator 3, iClone 7, as well as any 3rd party assets I like that I can find and kitbash from websites like Sketchfab, CGTrader, Turbosquid, etc. Once I have the assets attached that I'm close to happy with, I export the full model to either Blender or Zbrush and tweak the ever living shit out of everything until it looks seamless. Then it's back into Character Creator 3. for skinning weights, lighting and final rendering, before exporting to iClone 7 and Unreal Engine 4 for animation.
