I have been searching every means possible for a video tutorial or in manual on creating sprites from my image to create a character I'm not even sure I can do it without some other paint program.  Basically I have an image I would like to animate, and create sprites but don't have a clue how to go about it.  I guess that I don't have a choice but to use whats provided in the program content directory..  Any ideas or helpt to accomplish my task would greatly be appreciated.

The best way to do this will vary depending on the version you are using. So please tell us if you have Cartoon Animator 4, CrazyTalk Animator 3 and if you have the Pro or Pipeline version. Thanks.

Thanks for letting us know which version you are using.

With the Pro version you can't use the PSD templates but you can create custom characters directly within CTA3 itself. To create your own custom characters you will need an image editor such as Photoshop, Affinity Photo / Designer, Krita, Photopea etc. You will also need to be familiar with using layers and using tools to cut out parts of an image or drawing.

So once you have your image editor of choice ready, please watch the tutorial below which should help you get your own custom characters into CrazyTalk Animator 3.

Peter, I'm loving Cartoon Animator but I have an issue I can't seem to find an answer two when using Photopea.
I created a character in Photopea and sent it to Cartoon Animator. I closed the applications. When I re-opened the project my character is there in Cartoon Animator, but is there a way to open that character in Photopea again to make adjustments? Send it back to Photopea?

Hi @joeamcclean,

Bring the character to the Composer Mode.
Then, click the Launch PSD Editor icon.
