Though you may disable physics for hair and earrings, you do not have to.
What you need, is to properly setup physics interaction between Characters' head collision shape on one side and hair and earrings on the other.
I do not know what hair and what earrings you have, but the concept would be the same.
1. Try to lower collision margin of earrings and choose an appropriate Bound Type (collision shape).
2. Try to adjust the head collision shape and the margin for it
3. Adjust hair Physx settings and the weight map for it. I cannot advise you much, as It would depend on the type of hair and amount of interaction you wish to have.
But also note, that long hair would also interact with earrings as they have collision shape of their own.
So as I said, it might take a bit of patience to set it all up and highly depends on your preferences and the type and shape of hair and earrings.
