Is there anything else that Earth Sculptor can be used on besides just the height maps?  I want to sculpt some big land.  

Or are there any other easy sculptors out there like that which can be applied to props?  

In other words, how can I create the best custom mountains and valleys and such that extend out in territory going well past the height map? 

How Delerna uses planes is inspiring.  I'm guessing that will be the best route to go. 

I'm assuming there are YouTube tutorials on using planes to build custom terrains.  Do you guys have any recommendations on those? 

And are there any other ways that big lands can be sculpted which go beyond the realms of a single height map?
